CBI reached Kotdwar, important documents seized, investigation may reach other officers

CBI investigation is going on in the case of illegal construction and tree cutting in Pakhro range of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Along with interrogating the officers and employees of the Forest Department, the CBI team got hold of important documents. CBI has seized the documents. Now other employees may also come under the radar of CBI.

Let us tell you that while taking forward the investigation of illegal construction and tree cutting in Pakhro range, the CBI team had left for questioning the employees of Kotdwar and the adjacent forest range. Forest workers were interrogated for several hours in Kotdwar on Wednesday. The Enforcement Directorate is also investigating money laundering in this case.

CBI got hold of important documents
Senior IFS officers including the then Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat are also involved in this investigation. Along with interrogating the officers and employees of the Forest Department, the CBI team has taken the documents into its possession. According to information received from sources, during this period CBI has got hold of many important documents. Due to which the investigation can reach other officials also.
