Uttarakhand: Strange feat, teacher was missing from duty for a year, this is how it was revealed

A strange case of education department has come to light from Champawat. A teacher posted at Panchpeepal Upper Primary School of Barakot development block was missing from duty for a year. But no one was aware of it. The matter came to light when the teacher was put on election duty. After which action has been taken against the teacher.

According to the information, Nodal Officer of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and Chief Education Officer Meharban Singh Bisht said that assistant teacher Khimendra Singh Rautela posted in Upper Primary School Panchpeepal was made the first polling officer. An investigation was conducted after Khimendra was found absent from the training held on March 19.
Teacher suspended
Investigation revealed that the teacher was absent from school for the last one year. On this, the department sought clarification from the teacher and asked him to reply within three days. But the teacher did not give any explanation within the stipulated time. After which the teacher was suspended.
