Uttarakhand / Udham Singh Nagar: Couple assaulted over old rivalry, e-rickshaw set on fire

The courage of miscreants is increasing day by day in Udham Singh Nagar. Due to old enmity in the police station transit camp area, the miscreants beat up the couple and set the e-rickshaw on fire. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have started investigating the case.

The incident happened on Wednesday. According to the information received, Rashmi, a resident of Mukherjee Nagar of Police Station Transit Camp, told that she was playing Holi on March 25. Suddenly the neighbor young man came and started trying to apply color forcibly on her. When the woman protested against this, the young man started abusing her. Somehow the matter calmed down at that time.

Police engaged in investigation
The woman alleged that last Wednesday evening the neighbor came with his friends, abused her and attacked the family. The couple got injured and the attackers also set fire to the e-rickshaw parked outside. The victim has reported the matter to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police has started investigating the case.
