Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi: Major accident due to fire in gas cylinder, all the goods kept in four houses burnt to ashes

Due to a fire in a LPG cylinder in a house in a village in Uttarkashi, the entire house became a ball of fire. The fire was so fierce that within no time eight houses were engulfed by it. In this fire, all the goods kept in four houses were burnt to ashes.

Major accident due to fire in gas cylinder
A LPG cylinder caught fire in a house in Naitwad town of Uttarkashi Mori development block. Being a wooden house, the fire spread throughout the house. Within no time the fire spread to the nearby houses also. The fire became so severe that the entire material kept in four houses was burnt to ashes. While eight houses have suffered damage.

The fire was brought under control after a lot of effort
On receiving information about the incident, Mori police reached the spot. The police brought the fire under control after a lot of effort with the help of local people. But by the time the fire was extinguished, all the goods kept in four houses were burnt to ashes. While other houses have also suffered partial damage. However, it is a matter of gratitude that there was no loss of life in the incident.
