Uttarakhand: More than 9000 boxes of liquor recovered from closed factory, feared to be used in Lok Sabha elections

More than 9000 boxes of liquor have been recovered from a closed factory in Ekeshwar area near Satpuli in Pauri. As soon as the information was received, the Flying Squad team of the Election Commission also reached the spot. It is being told that the factory was locked.
Officials accused of collusion
According to the information, the Election Commission team had also informed the Excise Department about this. But the Excise Department team reached the spot after about eight hours. Due to late arrival of the Excise Department, the local people accused the department officials of collusion.
9331 boxes of liquor found on the spot
According to the information, when the FST team along with the Excise Department team reached the factory for checking, about 9331 boxes of liquor were found in it. It is being told that the place where this liquor is kept is a liquor factory, but it has been closed. However, when the investigation team asked for the stock register from the factory employees, they could not show it, due to which no irregularities have been detected yet.
Factory sealed
On the instructions of SSP Pauri Lokeshwar Singh regarding the matter, CO Pauri Anuj Kumar has sealed the factory. Sector Magistrate Virendra Singh Sajwan from the FST team said that the list of liquor received has been sent to the Election Commission. But the stock register was not available on the spot. Due to which, according to the information received, the error could not be detected.
