Danger of fierce war between Israel and Iran, India issues advisory, 22 thousand Indians in danger
Clouds of war are looming between Iran and Israel. America’s intelligence agencies have claimed that Iran is preparing its drones equipped with missiles and explosives for attack. In view of the Iranian threat, America has also alerted its warships in the Gulf countries. Meanwhile, Israel has also issued an alert across the country. Seeing the danger of this war, India has also alerted its citizens living or working in Iran and Israel and has issued advisory not to go to both these countries. Analysts say that about 18 thousand Indians live in Israel and 4 in Iran and if war starts, it will be a big challenge to evacuate them.
Recently, thousands of Indians are preparing to go to Israel. Israel wants about 1 lakh Indian workers to fill the place of Palestinians. For this, the governments of India and Israel have recruited thousands of Indians. In such a situation, this advisory issued by India not to go to Israel is a big blow for these Indians. Tension is already high between Israel and Iran over the Gaza war but it has reached its peak after the assassination of the military commander at the Iranian Consulate General in Syria.
Thousands of Indians are going to reach Israel
There are about 18 thousand Indians living in Israel who are engaged in work related to elderly care, information technology and advice. Israel is now looking towards more Indians with hope. If we talk about Iran, about 4 thousand Indians live there too. This includes businessmen and students. India’s advisory reflects its own diplomatic position in this tension. India also wants to prevent tensions from flaring up. Apart from this advisory, Indian officials are also working on a possible plan to evacuate Indian citizens from there.
Analysts say that this proactive attitude of India shows that the government of New Delhi is standing with its citizens in the crisis. After this advisory, Indians who were going to work in Israel will now have to wait until the situation becomes normal. Earlier on April 2, the first group of 64 Indians had reached Israel. Apart from this, 6 thousand other Indian workers are going to Israel at the end of this month and in the beginning of May. Israel wants to start a special air shuttle service to bring these Indians.
