Weather patterns will change in Uttarakhand, alert of light snowfall in high altitude areas
The weather pattern is going to change once again in Uttarakhand from this evening. Due to which the people of the state will get relief from the scorching heat. There are chances of gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 km in some plains as well as hilly districts of the state today.
Snowfall alert in high altitude areas
According to Meteorological Department Director Vikram Singh, a yellow alert has been issued this evening for gusty winds in Dehradun including Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Almora, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh districts. Whereas there is a possibility of light snowfall in areas at a height of more than four thousand meters.
Weather patterns will change till April 15
According to meteorologists, the weather pattern will remain changed from 13 to 15 April. An orange weather alert has been issued across the state for April 14. On this day, there are chances of gusty winds along with lightning. Which will provide relief from heat to some extent.
