Uttarakhand: In Dehradun, the courage of miscreants was high, they committed robbery at knife point

The courage of miscreants is increasing day by day in Dehradun. In view of the Lok Sabha elections, code of conduct has been imposed in the state. Despite this, miscreants carried out robberies in the city. After receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot.

The robbery was carried out at knife point
According to the information given by the police, three miscreants have committed a robbery in a filmy style in a posh area of Doon city. In broad daylight, three miscreants took the family hostage at knife point and looted cash worth lakhs of rupees and about 20 tola gold in a flat on the sixth floor of Pearl Hight Society under Vasant Vihar police station area.

The scoundrel carried out the robbery in broad daylight
Vikas Tyagi lives with his family on the sixth floor of Pearl Heights Society, located in the Vasant Vihar police station area. According to the police, at around 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, three miscreants entered Vikas Tyagi’s house in broad daylight by ringing the bell and took the family hostage by showing them a knife and a pistol.

A vehicle was arranged for the victim to escape
During this time, miscreants looted Rs 8 lakh and about 20 tola gold from Vikas Tyagi’s house. Not only this, while leaving after committing the incident, the miscreant arranged for a vehicle from Vikas Tyagi and took Vikas’s younger brother with him. After crossing the border of Uttarakhand, the miscreants gave Rs 500 to Vikas Tyagi’s brother and sent him back along with the car.

Doon police in search of accused
After receiving information about the incident, the police team immediately reached the spot. The family has lodged a complaint regarding the matter with the police late at night. Doon police is scanning CCTV cameras to search for the miscreants. Checking operations have been intensified on all borders to arrest the accused. After the incident, questions are being raised on the law and order situation of the police.
