Uttarakhand: Home Guard jawan who was on Lok Sabha election duty died, this is the reason given

A home guard jawan from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, who was on Lok Sabha election duty, died. The cause of death is said to be heart attack. Police have sent the body of the home guard to his home after post-mortem.

Home Guard soldier dies while on election duty
The deceased was identified as Omkar (59), son of Ram Swaroop, resident of Shahjahanpur. According to the information, Pauri’s Kotwal Nand Kishore Bhatt said that on Tuesday morning, Platoon Commander Home Guard Rakesh Kumar informed the police that the health of the Home Guard had suddenly deteriorated. After which the soldier was immediately admitted to the hospital. Where during treatment the doctors declared the home guard dead.

Heart attack is being said as the reason
Kotwal Nand Kishore Bhatt told that the Home Guard jawan was on duty during the Lok Sabha elections. Presently he was posted in Home Guard Company Katra, District Shahjahanpur. According to doctors, the Home Guard jawan died due to heart failure. The real cause of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes. The body of the deceased has been sent to his native village Shahjahanpur.
