Uttarakhand: Case registered against three big Congress leaders including Yashpal Arya in Haldwani and Dehradun, police engaged in investigation.\

A day before voting in Uttarakhand, a case has been registered against three big Congress leaders. On the complaint of BJP’s IT cell in Dehradun, a case has been registered against Congress state spokesperson Garima Dasouni in Dehradun Nagar Kotwali under various sections including violation of Model Code of Conduct. In Udham Singh Nagar district, a case has also been registered against senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and his son and former MLA Sanjeev Arya in Haldwani.
Case filed against state spokesperson of Congress
In the complaint filed by BJP’s IT cell against Congress spokesperson Garima Dasauni, it has been alleged that Garima posted a false and objectionable video against the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami from her Facebook account. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against Garima Dasouni and started investigating the matter.
City Kotwali in-charge Kailash Chandra Bhatt said that on the complaint of BJP IT Cell convenor Ajit Negi, the police is investigating the matter by registering a case against Congress spokesperson Garima Mahara Dasouni under other serious sections including violation of model code of conduct.
Case filed against leader of opposition also
Nainital district headquarters Haldwani city police station has registered a case of violation of code of conduct against four people including Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and his son and former MLA Sanjeev Arya. This case has been registered by the FST team in Haldwani police station. It is alleged that on Thursday morning, Leader of Opposition Arya along with his son was appealing to vote in favor of the party. At present the police is investigating the entire matter.
