Teacher dies while returning from election duty
According to the information received, Arun Upreti (42) was a guest teacher in Devipura Maldhan Chaud. Arun’s duty was engaged in CCTV web casting at Savalde School, Ramnagar on 19 April. It was late after voting. For this reason, he was coming on Saturday on his bike to the strong room of Haldwani MBPG to deposit the CCTV cameras.
Chaos among family members
Late Saturday evening, an unknown vehicle hit his bike near Lamchaud area of Mukhani police station area. The teacher was seriously injured in the accident. The injured was immediately taken to Sushila Tiwari Hospital for treatment. Where teacher Arun Upreti died during treatment. There is an uproar among the teacher’s family after his death.
Police busy searching for the driver
It is being told that Arun Upreti’s parents had died a few years ago. Whereas he has left behind his wife and three children. His death has created an uproar among the family members. At present, the search is on for the driver of the vehicle that hit the teacher.
