Uttarakhand: Train coach caught fire as soon as brakes were applied, creating panic among passengers
A sudden fire broke out in the coach of Ahmedabad-Rishikesh Yoga Express train going from Ahmedabad to Rishikesh in Iqbalpur village of Roorkee. As soon as the coach caught fire, there was chaos among the passengers.

The incident is of Sunday. According to the information, the train was going from Ahmedabad to Rishikesh. In the morning, information was received from RT Center Roorkee that the Ahmedabad Rishikesh Yoga Express train caught fire while braking near the railway station Iqbalpur. As soon as the information was received, outpost in-charge Sapni reached the spot with the team.

According to the information, Laksar GRP police station chief Sanjay Sharma said that there was a fire in the lower part of the coach. The fire has been brought under control. There has been no damage due to the fire. As soon as the fire broke out, the passengers came down from the train. Railway employees have repaired the coach. After about an hour the train left for Rishikesh.
