Kejriwal will not be able to do video conferencing with personal doctor, court’s decision on insulin also

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, lodged in Tihar jail in the Delhi liquor scam case, has received another blow from the court. The court has rejected Arvind Kejriwal’s petition seeking permission to consult a personal doctor through video conferencing. Let us tell you that Kejriwal had given a petition in Rouse Avenue Court for regular meeting with the doctor and providing insulin through video conferencing.

AIIMS panel constituted for health checkup

Rouse Avenue Court has rejected Kejriwal’s demand for regular meetings with his private doctor. The court has constituted a panel under the leadership of AIIMS director to investigate Kejriwal’s health. The AIIMS panel will decide whether Kejriwal should be given insulin or not. Kejriwal had demanded in his petition that he should be allowed to meet the doctor regularly for 15 minutes in the presence of his wife.

What did the court say on insulin?

Regarding Arvind Kejriwal’s demand for insulin, the court said that a medical board should be formed under the supervision of specialist doctors (Endorinologist/Diabetologist) of AIIMS which will take a decision on it. Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal is diabetic and Aam Aadmi Party is continuously demanding to give him insulin in Tihar Jail. There was a long debate in the court regarding this between ED and Kejriwal’s lawyer.

Kejriwal had written a letter to Tihar administration

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, lodged in Tihar Jail, has written a letter to the Tihar Jail Superintendent. In this letter, Arvind Kejriwal has said that the administration of Tihar Jail is lying under pressure. Along with this, he has expressed concern about his health. Kejriwal has also written that doctors have never said about his sugar level that there is nothing to worry about.
