Uttarakhand: Pilgrimage priests alleged that the path built by the Pandavas in Kedarnath was destroyed by desecration
Construction work is being done in Kedarnath under the master plan. But for some time now, people are being dissatisfied with the construction work. The pilgrim priests have even announced an indefinite bandh alleging that there are pits dug near and outside people’s houses during the construction work. Meanwhile, the pilgrim priests have accused Kedarnath of destroying the path built by the Pandavas.
The path made by Pandavas was destroyed
The pilgrim priests of Kedarnath Dham have accused the Pandavas of destroying the path built by them in Kedarnath. The pilgrim priests are asking why the path which was in front of Lord Kedar since time immemorial was destroyed? He has alleged that demolition is being done in the name of construction work in Kedarnath. Pilgrimage priests say that why the path to the door of Lord Kedar has been diverted from the mouth. Where will the deity carts going for the darshan of Lord Kedar go from?
Demolition being done in the name of master plan
Pilgrimage priests say that Kedarnath is a small town and lakhs of pilgrims come here every year but no work has been done here for their convenience. He says that vandalism is being done here again and again. Even after 15 years of Kedarnath disaster, the construction work has not been completed. He has questioned whether repeated demolitions are the master plan.
Kedarnath arrangements should be made fine
The pilgrim priests have not only demanded that the vandalism be stopped but they have also demanded that the arrangements in Kedarnath should be rectified. So that the devotees coming for Kedarnath darshan do not face any kind of problem. Along with this he said that the road to Kedarnath should be made the same as before.
