The police has arrested the accused who set fire to the shop located in Paltan Bazar, Dehradun. Let us tell you that after scanning the CCTV footage, it was revealed that the fire was not caused by short circuit but by some person by pouring inflammable substance.

The accused who set fire to the shop arrested
Let us tell you that late on the night of 24th April, an unknown person had set fire to the garments shop located in Paltan Bazar by pouring inflammable substance. Prima facie, the cause of the fire was believed to be short circuit. But after scanning the CCTV, it was revealed that a suspicious person riding a scooter had poured petrol and set the fire on fire.

Business rivalry is being cited as the reason
The shop operator had filed a complaint against unknown accused and demanded action. It is being told that the accused had committed the incident out of anger due to business rivalry and transaction dispute. After which the police started searching for the accused. The accused has been arrested by Dehradun Police from Muzaffarnagar.

The accused was arrested
According to the information received, the accused has been identified as Arun Kalra. Arun has a restaurant on Rajpur Road. During interrogation, it was revealed that the reason behind setting fire to Omji Garment was money transaction and court case dispute between the two parties. Due to which the accused got angry and set the shop on fire.
