Uttarakhand: Leader of opposition raised questions on increase in electricity prices, said- BJP government is picking people’s pockets

Voices of protest have started being raised across Uttarakhand regarding the seven percent increase in electricity prices. Meanwhile, politics has also intensified. In fact, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya has targeted the state government. He said that after the completion of Lok Sabha elections, the Dhami government has given a big blow to the public due to inflation.
BJP is picking the pockets of the common people
Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya said that the BJP government is busy picking the pockets of the common people. Electricity prices in the state have increased by about seven percent, which will have a direct impact on 22 lakh consumers of the state. He said that why the increased electricity prices were not implemented from April 1, because if the increased prices were implemented from April 1, the BJP would have suffered a big loss in the elections, hence the increased prices are being implemented now.
People are suffering due to inflation
Yashpal Arya said that the BJP government is doing a double whammy on the people of the state. At present it seems that the people are completely troubled by inflation and the BJP government is happy, they have nothing to do with the common man. He said that the common man is already suffering from the brunt of inflation. At the same time, it is natural to disturb the budget of households due to huge increase in electricity bill. He said that Uttarakhand is called an energy state, but in its own state the double engine government is giving the most expensive electricity to the consumers.
