Bihar: ‘Old PM wants third term even at the age of 75’, JDU-BJP angry over Misa Bharti’s statement

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder daughter and candidate from Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, Misa Bharti, has made such comments about Prime Minister Modi due to which both BJP and JDU have attacked Misa. Misa Bharti has taken a sarcasm by calling PM Modi old. Misa made this comment while addressing a gathering during campaigning in Patliputra parliamentary constituency. Now BJP and JDU have questioned whether Misa speaks in the same way about her father.

What did Misa Bharti say?

During the election campaign for Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, Misa had targeted the NDA government regarding the Agniveer scheme. Masi said what did this government do in 10 years? It came up with Agniveer Yojana. The youth fighting for the country will be retired at the age of 22. On the other hand, we have an old Prime Minister who, at the age of 75, is still seeking a third consecutive term.

BJP-JDU enraged

Now both BJP and JDU have hit back at Misa Bharti on her statement regarding PM Modi. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told MISA that PM Modi is much younger than Lalu ji. While calling someone old they should at least be mindful of whom they are insulting. At the same time, JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar raised the question whether Misa Bharti speaks about her father in the same way?

Ramkripal vs Misa in Pataliputra

The last phase of voting on Patliputra Lok Sabha seat of Bihar is to be held on June 1. Misa Bharti will face the current MP Ram Kripal Yadav on this seat. Ram Kripal was once close to Lalu Yadav. However, he joined BJP in 2014. He defeated MISA from Patliputra in both 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. JDU says that Misa will learn a lesson. Ram’s blessings are with Ram Kripal.
