‘Don’t be afraid, don’t run’ PM took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, also targeted Sonia Gandhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. A few hours later, Congress fielded him from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency. In the last Lok Sabha elections, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi had won from Rae Bareli seat. Congress had recently sent him to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.

Addressing a huge public meeting in Bardhaman, West Bengal, PM Modi took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi for leaving his traditional constituency Amethi and switching to Rae Bareli seat. He said, ‘Don’t be afraid, don’t run away’. On this the crowd present there also started sloganeering.

Sonia Gandhi also targeted
He said that the prince of Congress is so scared that he ran away from Amethi to Rae Bareli and is now looking for possibilities there. At the same time, taking a dig at Sonia Gandhi, the Prime Minister said that the biggest leader of the party was so scared that she refused to contest the Lok Sabha elections and found a way to reach Rajya Sabha through Rajasthan.

Left Amethi out of fear – PM Modi
He said, ‘I had earlier said that Shahzade is facing defeat in Wayanad and he will start looking for the third seat immediately after the voting ends there. Amethi also seemed unsafe to him. His colleagues and loyalists hoped that he would contest the elections from there, but he was so scared that he even left Amethi and went to Rae Bareli.

Taking a dig at Rahul contesting elections from Rae Bareli, PM Modi said, these people keep telling others – don’t be afraid. Today I will also say this to them, I say it with all my heart. Don’t be afraid, don’t run away.

India Alliance criticized
After this, PM Modi strongly criticized the country’s oldest party and India Alliance on many issues and said that the countrymen have now understood that these people are contesting elections not to win but to divide the country.
