HD Revanna arrested in Karnataka sex scandal case, SIT arrested from Deve Gowda’s house in Bengaluru
SIT has taken major action in Karnataka sex scandal case and pen drive case. The SIT arrested former minister and JDS MLA HD Revanna on Saturday evening. The incident occurred after the rescue of the victim, who was missing since April 27. Revanna was arrested from the Padmanabhanagar house of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. The action is related to a case of sexual assault and kidnapping registered against him at KR Nagar police station in Bengaluru. Earlier, the court had heard HD in the kidnapping case. Revanna’s anticipatory bail plea rejected.

Actually, on Saturday evening the SIT team had gone to HD Deve Gowda’s house to arrest Revanna. But the door of the house was not opened for a long time. Later the police arrested Revanna and took her for questioning.
In which case were the arrests made?
In a major development, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Karnataka Police on Saturday traced a kidnapped woman, who is allegedly one of the victims of the sex video scandal involving former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson and sitting JDS MP Prajwal Revanna. There is one. Sources said the woman was rescued from the farmhouse of Rajasekhar, personal assistant (PA) of JDS MLA HD Revanna, at Kalenahalli village in Mysuru district.
Bail petition rejected
The development occurred after a local court rejected the bail plea filed by HD Revanna, the main accused in the kidnapping case. The woman, who had gone missing on April 29, was locked in the farmhouse when SIT officials reached there following a tip-off. Sources said Rajasekhar has been absconding ever since the SIT traced the missing woman to her farmhouse.
Woman’s statement will be recorded
The woman will be brought to Bengaluru, where her statement will be recorded. On Friday, Karnataka Police registered an FIR against HD Revanna. A case has been registered against him in connection with the kidnapping of the woman, who is believed to be one of the victims of the sex video scandal involving Prajwal Revanna.
HD Revanna’s name included
The woman’s son had filed a missing complaint of his mother naming HD Revanna. Revanna is the main accused in this case. His relative Satish Babu, named as the second accused in the FIR, was arrested by the police from Mysuru district on Friday.
Woman was missing after alleged sex video surfaced
The woman’s son alleged that his mother has gone missing after an alleged sex video surfaced in which Prajwal Revanna can be seen sexually assaulting her. He also alleged that his mother was locked up at an undisclosed location after she refused to give HD evidence to the police. Had requested to initiate legal action against Revanna and Satish Babu. Prajwal Revanna has reportedly fled the country.
