Bihar / Bhagalpur: Young man reached the court to testify after drinking alcohol, said – he has drunk a little

A young man who had come to testify in the court in Bhagalpur stood in the dock with faltering steps. The judge became suspicious after seeing the witness dancing. After this, Special Public Prosecutor Excise-2 Bhola Mandal was instructed to investigate and this information was given to the Excise Department. After getting the information, the excise department team reached the spot and confirmed the consumption of alcohol. During this time the witness also confessed to his crime. He talked about drinking alcohol.
In a case of Navagachhiya (case 200/22), a young man was produced to testify. The young man was under the influence of alcohol. The witness was called for a session before the Special Judge of the Excise Court. The witness stood up in the meeting and his questioning began. During interrogation, first suspicion was raised after seeing the witness dancing under the influence of alcohol and then to confirm that suspicion, the witness was asked the reason for dancing. Then the witness told that he had drunk a little.
82% alcohol was found
In this regard, Special Public Prosecutor Product Court-2 Bhola Mandal said that Ranjit Kumar Singh was present as a witness in a case of Navgachia. There the young man was found under the influence of alcohol. Seeing the drunken youth dancing, the special judge got the investigation done and it was confirmed that he was drinking alcohol. Breath analysis was done on the drunk youth, in which 82% alcohol was found and he was sent for medical examination.
Judge sent him to jail
During interrogation, Ranjeet himself admitted to drinking alcohol. Then on the orders of the court, Ranjit Kumar Singh was examined with a breath analyzer. The investigation confirmed that he had consumed alcohol. After this the judge took action and sent him to jail.
