Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Rudraprayag today and took a review meeting of Kedarnath Yatra arrangements. During this, the CM instructed all the officials to make the travel preparations on time and provide all facilities to the passengers. The CM also reviewed the fire breaking out in the forests. After landing at the helipad at Ratura, the Chief Minister also collected Pirul. Also appealed to the people not to plant logs in the forests. He said that fire spreads very fast from Pirul. In such a situation, all the officers will help in controlling the fire under the fire line. His party workers will also be involved in this work.

On this occasion, CM Dhami said that the people of the state are requested to join hands with Yuvak Mangal Dal, Mahila Mangal Dal and self-help groups to run this campaign on a large scale to save the forests around them. try. To prevent forest fire, the government is also working on ‘Pirul Laao-Paise Pao’ mission. Under this mission, Pirul will be purchased at the rate of ₹ 50/kg at the Pirul Collection Center with the aim of reducing forest fires. This mission will be operated by the Pollution Control Board, for this a corpus fund of ₹ 50 crore will be kept separately.

Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is starting from 10th May. A large number of pilgrims from India and abroad have started arriving here. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Rudraprayag today to review the yatra preparations. Here he held a meeting of officials in the district office. The Chief Minister directed that all the travelers who come here should be treated as guests. The best facilities should be provided to the pilgrims at Kedarnath Dham including all the yatra stops. Any traveler coming here should not face any problem. Complete arrangements for cleanliness, drinking water, toilets, hospital etc. should be made in the Kedarnath Dham including the walking route. Along with this, the ongoing reconstruction work in the Dham should also be done on time. He said that past experiences and suggestions have been discussed. More passengers are expected to come on the yatra this time compared to last year. This time the cleanliness is good. Travel route and NH are also good. Travel control room has been created. After reviewing the yatra preparations, the CM also inspected the yatra route.

It should be noted that the Air Force operation is going on to extinguish the fire in the forests of the state. After the incidents of forest fire in Pauri, the Air Force has continued its operation and the forest fire is being extinguished. The district administration and forest department have taken the help of the Air Force to stop forest fires. Also, Mi-17 helicopter of the Air Force extinguished the fire in Advani, Khirsu and Chorkandi of Pauri.
