Terrorist attack in Pakistan, seven people died in the attack; No terrorist group took responsibility

Terrorist attacks in Pakistan are not stopping. At least seven workers were killed and one injured in an attack by unknown gunmen on Thursday in the port city of Gwadar in the troubled Balochistan province. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.

According to SHO Mohsin Ali of Gwadar Police Station, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a residential quarter near Gwadar Fish Harbour in Surbandar area. The dead and injured persons worked at a barber shop in the area and belonged to Khanewal district of Punjab. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that all means of force would be used to arrest the terrorists and their accomplices.

Home Minister ordered investigation

State Home Minister Mir Zia Ullah Langau has termed the killing of seven workers as open terrorism and ordered an investigation. This incident has come to light about three weeks after unknown attackers shot dead 11 people in separate terrorist incidents in Nushki district of Balochistan. Nine of the dead were from Punjab who were kidnapped by terrorists after pulling them out of the bus. Similarly, on March 20, gunmen attacked the Gwadar Port Authority.
