Paris Olympics: Satwik-Chirag will prepare for the Olympics with these famous pairs
Two famous foreign pairs will prepare the medal contenders of Paris Olympics, Commonwealth and Asian Games gold medalist badminton pair Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty for the Olympics. These two pairs are European Championship silver medalist Alexander Dunn-Adam Hall of Scotland and Thomas Cup medalist Ren Agung-Berry Angriawan of Indonesia. Satwik-Chirag will prepare for Paris with these two pairs in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Both the pairs are being called on the recommendation of Satwik-Chirag and their Danish coach Mathias Boe. SAI has approved the proposal for the preparation of both, which will cost approximately Rs. 6.5 lakh.
Foreign pairs will come in June and July
Satwik and Chirag have decided to prepare for the Olympics in the country instead of abroad. Satwik and Chirag will prepare in Mumbai from 22 to 30 June with Alexander Dunn and Adam Hall, while both will prepare in Hyderabad from 5 to 20 July with Agung and Angriawan. After this, both will leave for Paris from here. Mathias Boe wanted to prepare both of them with the Korean pair. The Korean pair demanded 10 thousand US dollars. The deal did not work out. The Indonesian pair is coming for four thousand dollars.
Three sparring partners from Indonesia were contracted for the preparation of badminton players in Hyderabad. Satwik and Chirag also used to prepare with them, but two of them went back, due to which Satwik-Chirag had to make a new plan for their preparation.
