The one who has two wives will get Rs 2 lakh? What did the leader say?

The fourth phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is to be held on May 13. For this, all the parties are busy campaigning with full gusto. The rhetoric is at a fever pitch and the leaders are blaming each other fiercely. Meanwhile, the tongues of many leaders are also slipping. Something similar happened with Kantilal Bhuria, Congress candidate from Madhya Pradesh, after which he remains in the news.
Kantilal Bhuria said that if Congress party comes to power, those who have two wives will get Rs 2 lakh in their house. Bhuria was addressing an election meeting in Sailana, Ratlam. During this, he wrongly explained his own party’s manifesto to the voters.
What did Bhuria say?
Kantilal Bhuria, Congress candidate from Ratlam-Jhabua Lok Sabha seat of Madhya Pradesh, said, “Don’t be afraid, the one who is scared dies, so speak boldly and bring Congress leaders and workers forward on May 13. As per our manifesto, as soon as the Congress government comes to power, one lakh rupees will be deposited in the account of every woman. All the women in the house know whether each of them has one lakh or not, now two lakhs will go to the house of the one who has two wives.” Although he started laughing after talking about two wives, he gave wrong information to his voters.
What is the promise of Congress?
Rahul had told about the Mahalakshmi scheme in a rally with Akhilesh Yadav. He had said that we will make a list of every poor family, in which we will select a woman from a poor family, in which the government will send Rs 8,500 per month and Rs 1 lakh per year to her account. Until that family comes out of the poverty line. It is clear from Rahul’s statement that only one woman from a family below the poverty line will get Rs 8500 every month, whereas Kantilal Bhuria talked about giving Rs 1 lakh to every woman.
