Uttarakhand: Lisa depot on gunpowder! CM Dhami directed officials regarding security

Uttarakhand Forest Department produces Lisa on a large scale. The government earns huge revenue from LSE. In such a situation, there is a danger of fire in the kitchen during summer. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given strict instructions to the Forest Department. CM has given instructions to strengthen the security of Lisa depot in view of fire. Also, officers have been directed to make 24-hour fire tenders as well as other arrangements.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that along with Haldwani, there are depots of Lisa in Tanakpur and other places. Where instructions have been given by CM Dhami for adequate fire safety arrangements. If we talk about Haldwani’s Sultannagar and Kathgodam Lisa depot, at present there is a stock of about 70 thousand quintals of Lisa. Whose value is said to be more than one billion. Inflammable substances like lye are considered extremely sensitive from safety point of view. The staff is on alert regarding the safety of the college. Questions have been raised many times regarding the fire safety of Leesa depot. In such a situation, the Chief Minister has directed the officials regarding the fire safety arrangements in the LISA depot. There are four biggest centers of LISA in Uttarakhand, where there is stock of LISA in Sultannagar of Haldwani and Hanumangarhi, Narendra Nagar and Tanakpur of Kathgodam.
If we talk about the Leesa depot of Haldwani, there is not adequate fire protection as per the standards. In such a situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued strict instructions to the forest department officials regarding the security of the Leesa depot. About 70 thousand quintals of Lisa is dumped together in Sultannagar Depot and Hanumangarhi Depot of Haldwani, the value of which is said to be more than one billion. At the same time, due to low demand for lease sales, there is concern about safety in summer. If a fire breaks out in a warehouse, it becomes very difficult to control it. In such a situation, a little carelessness can cause huge loss to the department.
