Uttarakhand: CM Dhami went to Dham as Chief Servant, BJP hits back at Congress

BJP hit back at Congress for raising questions on VIP darshan at Kedarnath Dham, saying, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has gone there as the chief servant on the occasion of opening of doors of Baba Kedarnath. There is nothing wrong in this.
State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said, the CM who called himself Chief Servant went as the head of the state and not as a VIP. It is ridiculous to link the Chief Minister’s accessibility and ease with VIP culture. Said, Chardham Yatra is the backbone of the economy of the state. Said, the BJP government itself had written a letter to all the states to refrain from VIP darshan for the first 15 days for easy and accessible darshan in the Dhams.
Said, there was a positive message behind it. However, VIP culture prevailed in the previous Congress governments. During the BJP era, the arrangements in the Dhams ranging from basic facilities to connectivity were improved. Said, Congress has been doing politics on every development issue and it has nothing to do with development works.
