Let us tell you that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was designated a terrorist by India’s National Investigation Agency in 2020. He was shot dead as he left a gurdwara in Surrey in June last year.
In September last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of involvement in the murder of Nijjar on Canadian soil. However, India rejected the allegations as “absurd and motivated”. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Canada has not been able to produce any evidence to prove its claim on this murder.
