As soon as the Char Dham Yatra started, there was a flood of devotees in Yamunotri Dham. Keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims, the police had issued an advisory to ban the journey for one day. Only after which the crowd was controlled. Uttarkashi Police has issued a new advisory for the devotees coming for darshan at Yamunotri Dham.
Advisory issued for devotees coming on pilgrimage
Uttarkashi Police issued an advisory and informed that the Yatra will run smoothly again. Along with this, it was said that for safe and smooth operation of traffic, traffic is being run through gate and one way system at sensitive and narrow places between Paligad to Jankichatti on Yamunotri route. It is rainy season in Dham and high altitude areas, all devotees should travel with raincoat, umbrella, warm clothes and other necessary items.
Alert issued for these districts
According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of heavy thunderstorms and light snowfall in some areas of Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi on Sunday. Rest of the districts will remain partly cloudy.
