Israel Hamas War: Israeli army intensifies military action, calls Rafah the last stronghold of Hamas

The Israeli army on Sunday intensified the fight against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip and also took action in some parts of the north which were almost destroyed during the war. However, the army said that it had liberated the areas of the north from Hamas’ control months ago, but after the withdrawal of security forces, the group is once again trying to gather in these areas.

Action will have to continue

Israel has described the city of Rafah in southern Gaza as the last stronghold of Hamas. The army says that it will have to continue action to eliminate Hamas and ensure the release of hostages. 3,00,000 people have been forced to leave the area after Israel said in recent days that it would intensify the action.

Bombing is going on

Palestinians said that heavy Israeli bombing overnight hit the Jabalia refugee camp and other areas of the northern Gaza Strip, causing widespread destruction. Local residents said that Israeli warplanes attacked the refugee camp and the Zeitoun area east of Gaza City, where soldiers have been fighting Palestinian militants for more than a week.

Israel’s new order

Meanwhile, it should also be mentioned here that, ignoring the increasing pressure from America and other countries, Israel has issued a new order to evacuate the southern city of Rafah in Gaza to increase its military operation. After Israel’s new ultimatum, thousands more people have been forced to move to other places. The Israeli army also said that it is entering the devastated northern Gaza, where according to its claim, the terrorist group Hamas has regrouped.
