After addressing an election rally at Mawai square in support of INDIA Alliance candidate Awadhesh Prasad, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav admitted in a conversation with the media that he is in the race for the post of Prime Minister. However, he further added that who will be in the race for the Prime Minister will be decided after the elections. He said that Ayodhya should become the capital of harmony, the message of positive politics should go out from Ayodhya. The message of Ayodhya is of mixed culture, love for each other should increase and an environment should be created in which there is no place for fear.

At the same time, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, who arrived in Rae Bareli as a Congress campaigner, has hinted at making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister.
