Uttarakhand: Complaints of devotees should be taken immediate cognizance, CS gave instructions

Now the Dhami government is preparing to take action against those spreading false propaganda about Chardham Yatra and making fake news or videos regarding the Yatra. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has also issued orders in this regard.

Unregistered vehicles will be sent back
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed the Transport Department to hold a meeting with tour operators and to immediately stop and send back buses and vehicles without registration, trip cards or post-dated registration on the route. CS said that appropriate action will be taken by marking unregistered vehicles at check points established at various places. A letter will be sent to the Chief Secretaries of other states in this regard.

Immediate cognizance should be taken on the complaint: CS
The Chief Secretary has issued instructions to the officials to take immediate appropriate action on any complaint received by any devotee on his mobile. He issued strict instructions to the concerned officials to keep their mobiles open 24 hours and listen to the complaints related to travel. CS has said that the Yatra will be regularly monitored by the Secretary in-charge from the Secretariat itself through the District Administration and the District Magistrate and effective coordination will be ensured between the Secretariat and the District Administration.

Arrangements should be made for live telecast of the four Dhams on the Yatra route
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has asked the Rishikesh Municipal Corporation to ensure all the necessary facilities at the holding places established at various places for the convenience of the devotees on the yatra route and arrangements for live telecast of the Dhams, especially the Rishikesh Municipal Corporation to immediately arrange the best facilities for the pilgrims at their holding places. Instructions have been given. The CS gave strict instructions to the Health Department to focus on health screening of passengers above 50 years of age.
