Hardeep Nijjar’s murder:  Accused of the murder appeared in Canadian court

Indian-origin citizen Amandeep Singh was produced in court in the case of murder of Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. According to local media reports, 22-year-old Amandeep Singh, a suspect in Nijjar’s murder, was produced in Surrey court on Wednesday via video conferencing. After hearing arguments, the court adjourned the case for next week.

The court has ordered Amandeep Singh to appear again on May 21 along with three co-accused arrested in this high-profile case. Relations between India and Canada became strained after this case.
