In Lakshmanpura village of Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, the in-laws left the dead body of a married woman in the verandah of the house and ran away. When the woman’s maternal family came to know about this, they reached the daughter’s in-laws’ house. Seeing the dead body of the daughter in the verandah of the house, informed the police. The woman’s father has accused her in-laws of murder.

Rajgarh Kotwali police station in-charge Veer Singh Thakur said that information was received about the hanging of 20-year-old married woman Reena Tanwar in Laxmanpura village of Rajgarh Kotwali police station area. After this, after reaching the spot, the body was recovered and brought to the district hospital for post-mortem. After post-mortem the body has been handed over to the relatives. The matter has been established and investigated. The situation will become clear only after the post mortem report comes.

The father wanted to leave saying that his daughter eats Rajshree

Reena’s father Shivnarayan Tanwar, resident of Gogadiya Khurd, told that two years ago his daughter was married to Jeevan Tanwar, resident of Laxmanpura village. Had sent the daughter to her in-laws’ house only a month ago. Since then, the in-laws say that your daughter eats Rajshree (gutkha). Take it away and were also threatening to leave her. They were demanding Rs 20 lakh for this. Due to non-payment of money, he had caused damage to crops in the village several times.

Was sent to in-laws house on the advice of Panchas

Father Shivnarayan said that a Panchayat was also held regarding the Natra dispute. After this, daughter Reena was sent to her in-laws’ house only on the advice of the Panchas. On Friday at 10 o’clock I got a call from my daughter saying that Papa is beating me. After this, he called the person (Gajraj) who had arranged this relationship. He was in Biaora and said that he would explain in the evening. After this the girl’s father went to Kalipeeth. Meanwhile, my son-in-law Jeevan called and said take your daughter, I said son you leave and he disconnected the call. After this the girl’s brother-in-law called me saying that Reena was dead. He committed suicide by hanging himself. When we reached Laxmanpura, our in-laws were missing. Reena’s body was lying in the verandah and a saree was hanging from the ceiling of the room on the ground.
