Bihar / Bhagalpur: 6 people drowned in Ganga while making reels, 2 were saved, 4 still missing

Six young men and women, who had gone to make reels at the Ganga Ghat on the Aguani bridge between Sultanganj-Khagaria border in Bhagalpur, Bihar, drowned in the river Ganga. Among the drowning people, a young man and a young woman were pulled out with the help of local people. Which includes 18 year old Shyam Sah and 18 year old Sakshi Kumari. At the same time, the condition of both the young man and the girl who were taken out of the river remains critical. Who were immediately admitted to Gogri Referral Hospital for treatment. While 4 other people are still missing and are being searched. The missing people include youth named Mukesh Chaudhary, Rajan Kumar, Aditya Kumar and Shyam Kumar.

SDRF team deployed with police on the spot

As soon as information about the incident was received, the SDRF team reached the spot. Parbata’s CO and police station incharge have set up camp at the spot. Regarding the incident, local people said that these people had reached the Ganga river since morning to make a video. Everyone started drowning while making the video. Four youths are still missing in the accident, while the condition of a young man and a girl rescued from Ganga is critical.
