The arrangements had derailed in the initial phase of Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra 2024. Due to which the pilgrims are facing a lot of problems. This is the reason why all the top officials from the Chief Minister to the administration and police are on the ground and trying to bring the arrangements of Chardham Yatra back on track. In this sequence, on Saturday, May 18, Uttarakhand DGP Abhinav Kumar took stock of the Chardham Yatra arrangements in Rishikesh and Srinagar.

So far, more than five lakh devotees have visited Charodham in Uttarakhand. The biggest challenge during Chardham Yatra is traffic jam. Because devotees are being sent forward on the basis of caring capacity in Charondham. In such a situation, many times tourists are being stopped midway, due to which tourists sometimes clash with the police. Apart from this, devotees are facing many minor problems. In view of all these problems of the devotees, DGP Abhinav Kumar is visiting Chardham Marg and is also giving necessary directions to the officials.

During this, DGP Abhinav Kumar said that from today an advisory has been issued regarding social media in the four Dhams, in which it has been made clear that if anyone spreads any propaganda or shares wrong information related to the Chardham Yatra, then he will be punished. Action will be taken against.

Apart from this, DGP Abhinav Kumar said that the in-charges of Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts are working in coordination among themselves. Information about the number of devotees and vehicles is being sent to each other. So that there is no jam situation anywhere on the highway.

Along with this, DGP Abhinav Kumar has appealed to the pilgrims coming on Chardham Yatra that Uttarakhand Police is ready to cooperate with them. Police are stopping vehicles at various places to protect the interests of the devotees and to reduce their problems. In such a situation, cooperate with the police. Considering the number of pilgrims in Chardham, the devotees are being sent from below. Apart from this, wherever shortcomings are visible, they are being removed. The police administration is fully prepared to ensure that the pilgrims do not face any problem.
