Uttar Pradesh / Banda: Dispute over Rs 200, wife went to her parents’ house for not giving, angry husband took dreadful step
In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, such a dispute broke out between husband and wife over just Rs 200 that it gave an unforgettable pain throughout life. Actually, the wife was demanding Rs 200 from her husband for household expenses and when the husband did not give the money, she went to her maternal home. Angered by this, the husband consumed poisonous substance, due to which he died.
This case is of Itara Khurd of Atarra police station area of Banda district, where 22 year old Ajju consumed poisonous substance. When the family members came to know about this when his condition worsened, he took him to the district hospital, where when he did not get relief, he took him to Rani Durgavati Medical College of Banda. Here the doctors declared the young man dead during treatment.
There was an uproar when the news of the death of the young man came to light. The relatives of the deceased told that two days ago his wife had come to her in-laws’ house from her parents’ house, demanding Rs 200 from Ajju for household expenses. Ajju did not give the money, due to which the wife got angry and went back to her parents’ house. Because of this, Ajju got angry and committed suicide.
Regarding this incident, Police Station Chief Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the information was received from the hospital after the death. Post-mortem of the dead body has been done by sending a police team. The family members were saying that there was a dispute between the husband and wife. The matter is being investigated and necessary legal action is being taken.
