Vehicles pass at high speed in the square. Trucks, buses and other vehicles coming from outside pass through here very fast. Let us tell you that many road accidents have happened here in the last few years. This square comes under two police stations, Patelnagar and Clementtown. Villagers say that they have informed the department several times in this regard.
Despite this, the concerned department is not taking care of their problems. Taking cognizance of the accident prone area, the villagers have asked District Magistrate Sonika to demand traffic lights and police arrangements for traffic control in the Chowk. So that the increasing road accidents can be stopped.
