Uttarakhand: Ranikhet MLA accused Congress of conspiring, called allegations of land grab baseless

After a woman accused Ranikhet MLA Pramod Nainwal of grabbing her ancestral land, now MLA Nainwal has also come forward openly in this matter. The MLA says that this entire incident is a conspiracy of the Congress Party, because the Congress Party leaders are nervous seeing his popularity and the continuous development work happening in the Assembly. That’s why he is conspiring to harass her mentally.

After the land dispute came to light, BJP MLA Pramod Nainwal said in a press conference in Almora on Sunday that his opponents are constantly trying to defame him. He has termed all the allegations leveled against him as baseless and said that the land which is said to be occupied by him was purchased in the years 2010 and 2015. Whose documents they have. But instead of complaining about this to the Revenue Department, the woman concerned has gone to Dehradun and tried to defame me by accusing me. MLA Nainwal has said that this is the same land which his opponents are linking with the garden scam. He has termed this entire matter as a well-planned conspiracy. Nainwal has said that he is going to take legal action in this entire matter soon.

Congress had sent a memorandum to the Governor

Recently, the Congress Party had sent a memorandum to the Governor and the Chief Minister on the allegation of forcibly occupying the land of a woman resident of village Chuni in Nainital district by Ranikhet MLA Pramod Nainwal and his brother Satish Nainwal. Many allegations were leveled against the MLA and demands were made to abolish his MLA.

Congress had accused the Ranikhet MLA of doing unethical work day in and day out, keeping aside all the values of a public representative. They are bent on spoiling the harmonious atmosphere of Ranikhet assembly constituency and other assembly constituencies. Congress has demanded that Ranikhet MLA Pramod Nainwal’s MLA should be terminated with immediate effect if his name comes up in cases like CBI investigation into the garden scam, forcibly grabbing private lands of poor families and grabbing government forest department lands etc.
