To ensure that the journey of the devotees coming to visit Shri Kedarnath Dham is conducted in a smooth and organized manner, Secretary Health and Incharge Secretary Travel Dr. visited the district to inspect the arrangements and facilities being provided by the State Government and the District Administration. R Rajesh Kumar along with the concerned officials conducted on-site inspection and took stock of the arrangements. He said that the objective of the state government is that all the basic facilities should be available to the devotees who are coming to visit Chardham. The Chief Minister is continuously making efforts so that the Chardham journey of the coming devotees is smooth and auspicious and they take with them a pleasant experience from Uttarakhand. Go. For this purpose, the preparations and arrangements being made for the Yatra are being reviewed so that the facilities and arrangements which have not been made available at the district level can be taken immediate cognizance of and those arrangements and facilities can be made available immediately from the government level. . So that the pilgrims do not face any inconvenience and trouble.

To conduct Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra in an organized manner, proper management of traffic system and parking system should be done.

While inspecting the various travel stops from Sirohbagad to Sonprayag by road, he has instructed the National Highway to ensure the availability of JCB machines in the areas which are sliding zones and if the travel route is disrupted, it can be made smooth for immediate movement. Regarding the parking arrangements, he said that the parking has been properly managed by the district administration but due to the continuous arrival of large number of devotees, there is a situation of traffic jam at many places. For this, he said that the Kedarnath Yatra stop has been made at places like Sitapur, Sonprayag etc. When the parking is full, the traffic should be stopped behind so that there is no jam situation.

Reviewing the facilities and arrangements being provided by various departments for the Kedarnath Dham Yatra, he has given instructions to the concerned officers to immediately strengthen the arrangements.

He has instructed the Designated Officer Food Safety that to ensure that there is no over-rating from the pilgrims coming to visit Kedarnath Dham, the rate list should be mandatorily pasted in all the shops, hotels, restaurants and dhabas. Along with this, special attention should be paid to the quality of food items and continuous checking should be done. He instructed to keep special vigil on the horses and mules plying on the yatra route. He has instructed the officials of the Animal Husbandry Department that there should be no animal cruelty in any way towards any horse or mule and under any circumstances, horses and mules should not be made to take double trips. Instructions were given to keep a close watch on this. He instructed to take special care of cleanliness from the Yatra route to Kedarnath Dham and regular cleaning arrangements should be made in all the toilets and Yatra routes so that the devotees do not face any problem.

He gave instructions to maintain the drinking water system and electricity system from the Yatra route till Kedarnath Dham. He said that the concerned departments should work seriously to ensure that the devotees do not face any problem of drinking water on the Yatra route and Kedarnath Dham. He has given instructions to the electricity department that in case of interruption of power supply, any fault that occurs on the power line should be immediately repaired and the power supply should be made smooth immediately so that the devotees do not face any problem. He has instructed the Nodal Officer Haley to keep a strict vigil to ensure that there is no fraud or fraud with any passenger and instructions were also given to constantly monitor that there should be no over-rating from the devotees in any case.

While reviewing the travel arrangements, the Secretary in charge appreciated the preparations made by the district administration and related departments for the travel arrangements. He said that the arrangements made at present are better but it is a challenge to further strengthen the arrangements and facilities for the devotees coming in large numbers, for which all the officers should work with mutual coordination so that the Yatra is smooth and well organized. Can be operated properly.

On this occasion, Chief Development Officer GS Khati informed about the preparations and arrangements made for the yatra by various departments. He said that all the officials are making continuous efforts to conduct the Yatra in an organized manner and are working day and night to strengthen the arrangements. He has assured the Secretary that whatever guidelines given by him will be ensured to be followed by the concerned departments.

On this occasion, Joint Director Health Dr. Amit Shukla, Chief Medical Officer Dr. HCS Martolia, Deputy Food Commissioner Garhwal RS Rawat, District Tourism Officer Rahul Choubey, Designated Officer Manoj Kumar Semwal, District Supply Officer Manoj Doval and related officers were present.

On this occasion, District Panchayat member Ganesh Tiwari, Junior Chief Ukhimath Shailendra Singh Kotwal, Harish Rawat and Bhupendra Singh Kotwal met Secretary Health and Secretary in-charge and gave a memorandum to further strengthen the travel arrangements.
