Uttarakhand: Two former CMs face to face on High Court shifting, Trivendra gives advice on Koshyari’s letter to Chief Minister

Recently, Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari had written a letter to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressing doubt over shifting the High Court from Nainital to Garhwal. On which now another statement from former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has come.
Koshyari’s letter to Trivendra Akhri: In Uttarakhand, the statements of two big leaders of the same party Bharatiya Janata Party seem to be counterattacking each other. These two big leaders of BJP are Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Trivendra Singh Rawat. Both are strong leaders of BJP and have been former Chief Ministers. Actually the matter started with a letter from former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Koshyari wrote a letter to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding shifting of Nainital High Court from Nainital.
What was in Koshyari’s letter to the CM: In this letter, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, while mentioning many points, also expressed his views on the importance being given to Garhwal instead of Kumaon. In this letter of former BJP Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the institutions established in Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand were also mentioned. It was also mentioned how Kumaon should also be given importance like Garhwal. After this letter of Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the discussion about Garhwal Kumaon started once again in the political circles.
Trivendra surprised by Koshyari’s letter: Now the statement of senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has come on this entire matter. Refuting this letter of former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari, he said that he was very surprised to see this letter. He said that he does not know why former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari has written this letter. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that our entire Uttarakhand state is one. We must believe in perfection. He also said that from political point of view we should avoid such controversies.
Trivendra’s advice to Koshyari: Trivendra Singh Rawat said that as far as Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s letter contained the topic of shifting the High Court, this topic had come before him even when he was the Chief Minister. He told that due to the activities of traders and tourism in Nainital, there is disruption in the functioning of the High Court as well as tourism activities. It is the demand of the people there that the High Court should be shifted somewhere else. For which a place was searched in Haldwani and Ramnagar and action on this is going on. But in this way, by raising the topic as per the region, we should avoid controversies.
