Uttarakhand: Rain caused havoc, debris entered shops, NH remained closed for three hours

The rain in the state on Wednesday has wreaked havoc on the mountains. At some places, debris entered shops due to rain and at other places the national highway was blocked due to debris. Due to rain, roads in Bhimtal turned into ponds. The people of Barish had to face a lot of problems.
Devastation in the mountains due to rain
Due to rain, debris arrived on Bhawali-Almora National Highway. NH (National Highway) was disrupted in Kwarab area due to debris. NH was opened after three hours of hard work. Due to NH being disrupted, passengers traveling to and from Almora and Haldwani had to face problems.
Water entered shops
Due to rain, water also entered the shops. Due to water, all the goods kept in the shops have been spoiled. Along with the shops, the roads were also flooded. After just one hour of rain, the roads turned into ponds. People had to face a lot of problems due to waterlogging on the roads. Along with pedestrians, drivers also faced problems.
Debris came on the road in Okhalkanda also
Due to torrential rain for an hour, there was debris on the road after coming to Gadhera on Putpadi road in Okhalkanda. Drivers became worried due to debris. At the same time, due to rain, the faces of the farmers are seen smiling. Farmers of Mukteshwar, Bhimtal, Dhanachuli, Ramgarh, Dhari, Betalghat say that due to the rain, the crops grown in the fields have got good moisture. Due to which the production of their crops is expected to increase slightly.
