Uttarakhand: Rain starts on the mountains, it will rain in these districts today

The weather took a turn in Uttarakhand on Tuesday evening and it rained heavily in the mountains on Wednesday also. A period of showers has started amidst dense clouds on the mountains. Due to which, while on one hand people have got relief from the heat, on the other hand there has been damage due to excessive rainfall in Pauri and Uttarkashi.

Badra rained heavily on the mountains
The weather pattern has changed in the state. It rained heavily on the mountains. After the rains, the weather has become pleasant in the mountains. Whereas in Pauri and Uttarkashi there has been huge damage due to excessive rainfall. Many roads have been closed due to debris. So there two roads have been washed away. Along with this, there was heavy rain in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar also.

It will rain in 10 districts of the state today
According to the Meteorological Center, there will be rain in 10 districts of the state today. Today there are chances of rain in Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Pauri, Tehri, Almora, Dehradun and Champawat. Along with this, there is also a possibility of gusty winds along with thunder and lightning in these districts. Whereas the weather will remain dry in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

People got relief from heat due to rain
It rained in many areas of the state on Wednesday. People have got relief from the heat due to rain. It rained in Dehradun and Haldwani also on Wednesday. In Doon, there was good rain for about half an hour in the areas located at Jakhan, Sahasradhara Road, Malsi, Purkal, Guniyal village, Bisht village, Canal Road, Mussoorie Marg. However, there was no rain from Dilaram Chowk towards Ghantaghar and in the main city. Along with this, there was heavy rain in Mussoorie also.
