A leopard attacked a woman who had gone to collect fodder in Banbasa of Udham Singh Nagar district. According to the information received, Munni Devi, a 34-year-old woman resident of Phagpur, had gone to the banks of Huddi river with her fellow women to collect fodder. Munni Devi was attacked by a leopard sitting in ambush in the bushes while she was cutting fodder.

Survived the first time and attacked again the second time
When the leopard attacked Munni Devi, her fellow women raised an alarm due to which the leopard ran away from there. Munni Devli was injured in this attack. After some time the leopard again attacked the injured Munni Devi. Munni Devi died in the second attack. The women informed the villagers about the incident.

Panic in the area after the incident
There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident of leopard attacking a woman. The body of the deceased has been sent to Khatima for post-mortem. According to the information received, the deceased woman has two small children. One son of the woman studies in class two and the other in class nine. The children are crying badly due to the death of their mother.
