52 lives lost so far in Chardham Yatra, highest number of deaths due to heart attack

Crowd of people is continuously gathering in Chardham Yatra. So far 52 people have died during the Chardham Yatra. Out of these, maximum deaths have occurred in Kedarnath Dham. Most of the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra are dying due to heart attack.

So far 52 people have died during the Chardham Yatra. Out of these, 23 devotees have died in Kedarnath Dham, 14 in Badrinath, 12 in Yamunotri and three in Gangotri. Most of the lives have been lost in Kedarnath. Let us tell you that 350 passengers have died in the last 10 years. The main causes of death are chest pain and heart attack.

Death of a pilgrim on Hemkund Sahib Yatra
The doors of Hemkund Sahib are going to open tomorrow i.e. on 25th May. A pilgrim from Punjab died due to cardiac arrest. Today devotees have left from Govindghat and Ghangaria. According to the information received, a passenger going from Govindghat to Ghangaria, Jaswinder Singh (60), resident of Ludhiana, Punjab, died due to cardiac arrest on Thursday.

Online registration for Chardham Yatra complete till June
Offline registrations for Chardham Yatra are currently closed. Meanwhile, online registrations have also been completed till the month of June. Now registrations are being taken for the journey from July to November. Let us tell you that due to the huge crowd in Chardham, the government has banned offline registration till May 31. Till now 31.55 lakh registrations have been done for Chardham Yatra.
