Uttarakhand: Concrete plan will be made to protect forests from fire, CM Dhami did aerial inspection of forest fire affected area

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that there has been a lot of damage due to forest fire in the state. The rain has brought relief. Now a concrete plan will be prepared to ensure that there is no loss of forest and life in future.

On Thursday, the CM reached Lamgada and conducted ground and aerial inspection of the areas affected by forest fire. He said that there has definitely been a lot of damage due to forest fires this year. Many challenges were faced in these incidents but now the situation is under control. At present the forest fire is under control with the cooperation of local people and the forest department. The rain has brought relief. A plan is being prepared to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. A concrete plan will be prepared to save forests and people safely. Action will be taken against negligent officers and employees. He expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives due to the forest fire.

Girl worship done in Dol Ashram
CM participated in the concluding program of Mahabharata Katha organized on the occasion of the annual festival of Dhami Dol Ashram. He worshiped here as per the rituals and prayed for the prosperity of the state and the country. There he worshiped the girl and took the blessings of Van Durga. People who came from far away places took Prasad in the Bhandara set up in the Ashram. On this occasion, many people including Katha Vyas Govind Dev Giri, founder Baba Kalyan Das Maharaj were present.
