Election Commission released the data, know where and how much voting took place in the five phases?

A total of five phases of elections have been completed so far for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Today the Election Commission has released the voting data of all the five phases. The Commission clearly said that no one can tamper with the number of votes. Every vote is accounted for. The Commission said that no one can change the figures of votes shared with the polling agents of all the candidates through Form 17. The Commission said that the voting data was always available 24×7 with the candidates and for the citizens on the Voter Turnout App.

Where, how much voting took place in the five phases?

  • There were a total of 166386344 voters in the first phase and a total of 110052103 people exercised their franchise. The polling percentage of the first phase was 66.14.
  • In the second phase, out of a total of 158645484 voters, 105830572 cast their votes. A total of 66.7 percent voting took place in the second phase. There were 172404907 voters in the third phase, while 113234676 exercised their franchise. 65.68 percent voting was recorded in this phase.
  • 69.16 percent voting took place in the fourth phase. Out of a total of 177075629 voters, 122469319 voters cast their votes.
  • 55710618 out of a total of 89567973 voters cast their votes in the fifth phase. 62.20 percent voting took place in the fifth phase.
