A young man died due to lack of health facilities in village Devaldhar under Nainidanda block of Pauri Garhwal. Let us tell you that three days ago, the health of Amit Singh (24) son of Girdhar Singh, resident of Devaldhar (Nainidanda), suddenly deteriorated. The young man was hurriedly taken to the rural health center Dhumakot. Where seeing his critical condition, the young man was referred to Nainidanda. But from there also the young man was referred to a higher center.

He died while being taken to a higher center

From Nainidanda, the young man was referred to Ramnagar. Here the doctors referred the young man to Haldwani by saying that it was a paralysis attack. But this process of referrals did not stop in Haldwani and the doctors referred the young man to Delhi from here as well. The young man was being taken to Delhi but he died on the way.

Anger among the family after the death of the young man

Let us tell you that the young man had come to the village on 21st May to participate in the Puja. On 22nd May, his health suddenly deteriorated and he died on 23rd. The atmosphere of happiness in the village for the Puja turned into mourning. There is an atmosphere of anger among the family as well as the entire village due to Amit’s death after suffering for 36 hours. The family says that if Amit had got treatment on time, his life would have been saved today.
