According to the information, Ranger of Nagdev Range Lalit Mohan Singh Negi said that the leopard has been captured in a cage installed near the Srinagar Glass House Road. After which it has been sent to Chidiyapur.

The age of the leopard captured in the cage is said to be seven years. After medical examination, the leopard will be kept in the Chidiyapur Rescue Center.
