Uttarakhand: On the instructions of Dhami, a 6-member high-level committee was formed for the Chardham Yatra

A high level committee has been formed for the operation of Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra. In view of the increasing pressure of pilgrims in the Yatra, the committee will prepare a detailed action plan for better operation. Along with this, to make the journey smooth in future, it will also present its suggestions regarding the formation of a travel authority or any other institution. On the other hand, the work of this high level committee will also be to monitor the Chardham Yatra.
Amidst the pictures of chaos in the Chardham Yatra, now the government is taking decisions for better operation of the Yatra by taking new steps. In this episode, a high level committee has been formed for the Yatra. This committee will also issue necessary guidelines while reviewing from time to time to make the Chardham Yatra smooth. In this way, this high level committee will regularly monitor the Chardham Yatra.
The high level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Finance. In this way, a five-member high level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of senior IAS officer Anand Vardhan. In this committee, the Additional Chief Secretary will be the chairman, while the Home Secretary will work as a member.
Secretary Tourism has been included in the committee as member coordinator, while Additional Director General of Police Law and Order, Commissioner Garhwal Division and Inspector General of Police Garhwal Division have been kept as members. The high level committee will not only monitor the Char Dham Yatra and review it from time to time, but the committee has also been given the responsibility of preparing a detailed action plan to facilitate the journey.
Apart from this, this committee will also give its suggestions for the future travel to all the religious places in the state. These suggestions given by the committee will be related to the formation of an authority or other institution to facilitate the journey. The high level committee has to prepare its report and submit it to the Chief Secretary. After this, after studying this report at the government level, a final decision can be taken on what steps should be taken for the Char Dham Yatra and any religious journey in the state in future.
