Uttarakhand: Preparations for counting of votes are in full swing, training has begun, commission has called a meeting, training of district officials will begin from June 30

Preparations for counting of Lok Sabha election votes have intensified in Uttarakhand. Counting of votes will be done in all districts on June 4, while at the RO level, postal ballots will also be counted along with district ballots. Election Commission has called a meeting regarding counting of votes. Counting of votes will be done under three-tier security.

Chief Election Officer of Uttarakhand Dr. BVRC Purushottam said, training of master trainers for counting of votes has been completed. Now he will give further training. He said, first of all, training has been started for counting of votes of service voters. Officials are being told the details of all the measures to be adopted during counting of votes.

Counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections in the state will be done under three-tier security cover. In which the innermost security will be CAPF security and then PAC security, then the outermost security cover will be of state police. Districts have sent approval to the Election Commission regarding the counting place and all the arrangements. He said, entry will not be allowed inside this three-tier security cover without checking.

Information of all the personnel and agents deployed at the counting center will be sent to all political parties. The training of nodal officers for counting of EVM votes will begin from May 28. Training of district officials will begin from June 30. Apart from this, election observers will reach Uttarakhand on June 2. Lok Sabha elections were held in the state on April 19, in which the fate of 55 candidates was sealed in EVMs.
